Fishsteria is the equation of Fish + Hysteria, a stylish seafood concept experience, from Chef Owner Gianni - behind the city’s popular restaurants Giando and EAT.it, aiming to bring one of the finest and widest selection of fresh seafood straight from the ocean to your table.

Beating in the heart of Wan Chai, Fishsteria is an exciting addition to Hong Kong’s culinary landscape and seafood lovers’ directory, serving only the freshest clams, oysters, lobster or blue fin tuna, as well as exceptional catches such as sustainable Italian seabass, Alaskan king crab or Dover sole from southern France. A remarkable cocktail and wine program completes the bill of fare, with memorable libations and caringly curated European labels.

Reminiscent of an Italian fishing village, the space at Fishsteria combines a relaxed bar and lounge area on the ground floor offering signature cocktails and a simple bar menu featuring rolls (lobster, shrimp, Wagyu), oysters and raw fish; while the upper dining level, seating up to 130 guests and including two private rooms, will set you in a casual yet elegant atmosphere dedicated to finer treats, perfect for business lunches, dinners and celebratory occasions.

Fishsteria opens daily for lunch, happy hour, dinner and weekend brunch, and offers dine-in, take-out, private events and catering services.

A native from the Italian city of Rimini, on the Adriatic Sea, Gianni debuted in a local seafood restaurant where he naturally developed a true passion and understanding of the produce. Prior to Hong Kong, Gianni broadened his knowledge and sharpened his skills throughout a culinary journey in Japan, the USA, Corsica and France, learning various techniques and recipes to sublime seafood.

Today, through Fishsteria, Chef Gianni shares and translates his memories of a coastal life, his love for exceptional seafood and his dedication to cooking. With nautical elements, bright quirky artworks and an old ship revived as the restaurant’s bar and communal table, the venue is a modern interpretation of an Italian fishing village and life, hospitable, festive and humble. Spreading over two floors, Fishsteria reflects two different atmospheres: the Oyster + Cocktail Bar on the ground level emulates an upbeat afternoon on the shore, a cool drink in hand with small sea bites, whereas the upper Seafood Place invites diners to a more refined yet relaxed experience.

Whether it is for a casual meet-up, a special dinner or anything in between, we create unique recipes and memorable events for seafood lovers. Prawn Tasting Menu, Sardine Nights, Bouillabaisse goodness or Giant Macaroni Lobster await gourmet palates in the dining room, while the lounge and bar is the hotspot for sundown drinks and exclusive indulgences with the HK$10 Oyster & Caviar O’clock everyday from 5pm to 7.30pm. What else? Special treats for ladies on Mermaid’s Night with live music one Wednesday monthly, selected Champagne pops at HK$ 488 to enjoy with HK$ 10 oysters late night from 10pm till midnight every Thursday to Saturday and Fishsteria Seafood Brunch at HK$ 338 will be your weekend favourite!
